The Russian Export Center Group has opened Russian Gastro House, the first permanent demonstration and tasting pavilion with Russian foodstuffs, in Ho Chi Minh City.
The showroom was launched after a series of successful Russian Gastro Week exhibitions, which were first held in Vietnam in 2016 and 2017 and enjoyed Vietnamese companies' steadily growing interest in Russian products and their producers.
When opening pavilions abroad offering Russian foods we are striving to enhance awareness of our brands and introducing the foreign customer to a wide range of foods that Russia is ready to supply today. The exporters exhibiting at the pavilion will be able not only to present their products to potential buyers, but also to expand b2b contacts.
The REC program focuses primarily on small and medium-sized business and helps them take the first step towards tapping new foreign markets through the pavilion's free infrastructure.
In 2017, a similar pavilion was opened in China and plans are under way to establish a pavilion in the UAE.
